Continental Kennel Club This is another of the major breed registration organisations. The link (left) will provide you with information about breeds, obedience training, dog shows and much more. The majority of puppies we sell are eligible for registration with Continental Kennel Club.
Dr. P's Dog Training This site has several pages explaining in detail how to train your dog. This is the place to start if you think you want to train your dog.

Behavior Information
Here's an executive summary of the behavior characteristics of dogs. The dogs are divided into broad categories with examples of the breeds of dogs included in the several categories. Checking this site might give you a better idea of the type of dog for you.

Fish
Terse map of the *.aquaria FAQ's What's a FAQ? A FAQ is a set of Frequently Asked Questions. If you have accumulated some general knowledge of the art and science of keeping an aquarium and are looking for something specific this is a good place to begin that search. This site has some of the more widely sought FAQ's as well as some older documents that still have useful information. You will find that reading a FAQ can save you a significant amount of time over searching the related newsgroups.
WetWebMedia Aquariums, Fish and Aquatic Information... This site could be called extensive. Those interested in outdoor ponds or water gardens can start here. I'd tell you more but then you wouldn't go and look.
Aquarium Central This site is a general reference for marine, brackish, coldwater and freshwater aquaria. There are also articles on plants and garden ponds. They even have a species profile section.
The Angelfish Society This is a starting point. You can keep it simple or make it really complex. Simply talk with other angelfish people or get basic information about genetics and phenotypes.
American Killifish Association This site has a basic introduction to care and keeping of killifish. If you know nothing about killifish this is a good place to start.
F I N S The Fish Information Service This is a good place to start if you are looking for general information, a calculation or conversion factor or plans for some esoteric filters. They also link out to severla other pages with information they don't have.
The Gas Station - African Cichlids This is an intersting place to start for information on African cichlids. You'll find information on basick care, suggestions on setting up tanks and more specialized articles on such things as egg tumblers and methosds for extracting shell dwellers from the shells and crevices in rocks in their tanks.
Malawi Cichlid Homepage This site has a wealth of information on keeping of cichlids with special emphasis on Lake Malawi. There are tables for converting between english and metric units of measure, articles on breeding, some basic fish first aid and more advanced fish medicine for the bolder aquarists. There is even a fairly in-depth article on photographing fish in both the aquarium and in the wild.

Webmaster's note. The majority of the articles on this site were written by people whose first language was something other than english. The translations may seem a bit stilted at first however it is well worth your time to read these pages.

Geothermal Aquaculture Research Foundation If you are doing anything with saltwater aquaria or specifically, cultivating corals this is a "must see" site. The information ranges from the very simple to the extremely complex as well as links for specialty items you might want or need for saltwater and reef tanks.
Fish Clubs This is a partial list of fish clubs. The clubs included here were selected because they provide some basic information to non-members. The various sites are offered for informational purposes. Inclusion of these clubs is not an endorsement.

Frogs
Frogland Start looking here for information as simple as suggestions for naming your frog or raising crickets to feed your frog. Some of the frogs found on this site also have sound clips of their vocalizings.
Amphibians and Reptiles of Texas There's not much here in terms of reading material. You will find some good photographs that will prove helpful in identifying your frog.

Gerbils
Gerbil Information If you know nothing about gerbils or are uncertain about something you heard this is the place to start your search for answers to your questions. This site is out of the UK.

Insects, Spiders and Tarantulas
Petbugs.com Just what the name implies... They have care sheets for several different kinds of bugs including tarantualas and spiders.

Rabbits
House Rabbit Society Here is a place to find information rabbits. They have pages dealing with housing, diet, toys and the all important litter box training.
Litter Training Rabbits This is an alternative to the litter box training method offered by House Rabbit Society. The method is basically the same.
Rabbit Clubs This is a partial listing of rabbit clubs. The inclusion of these organizations is not an endorsement.

Rats and Mice
American Fancy Rat and Mouse Association This is one of many fancy rat and mouse organizations. They are as good a place as any to research fancy rats and mice. This site also has several pages describing color and marking for both rats and mice.
Rat and Mouse Club of America This is another of the many rat and mouse club sites. They are in expansion mode and are adding new cities and areas to their list of affiliated clubs.

Reptiles
Herp and Green Iguana Information Collection Are you looking for informatino on reptiles? Here is one place to start. The site has information several species, information on their general care and maintenance and information on some of the diseases that affect reptiles.
Amphibians and Reptiles of Texas There's not much here in terms of reading material. You will find some good photographs that will prove helpful in identifying your snakes and lizards..

Tortoises and Turtles
Gulf Coast Turtle and Tortoise Society This is one of many sites with information on turtles and tortoises. They offer a newsletter with information on meetings and events.
Crocodilian, Tuatara, and Turtle Species of the World This site is not your average turtle enthusiast page. Some will doubtless be overwhelmed by the technical nature of the information. You won't find many photographs here but you will find referenced information on identification and range of various species in the wild.
Amphibians and Reptiles of Texas There's not much here in terms of reading material. You will find some good photographs that will prove helpful in identifying your turtle. This site is a good companion site to Crocodilian, Tuatara, and Turtle Species of the World
Tortoise Trust Excuse me while I suffer an attack of writer's block and insert a quote

This an another source of information similar to Gulf Coast Turtle and Tortoise Society.
